About GSG Karate Academy

Our Story
GSG Karate Academy was founded with a vision to make traditional karate accessible to communities across Malaysia, empowering youth with discipline, confidence, and life skills.
Under the leadership of Renshi Gobinath A/L Perumal, our academy has grown from a single class to over 35 locations across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Kelantan. With more than 20 years of experience, we've trained over 1,000 students, many of whom have achieved black belt status and continue to inspire others.
In December 2024, we opened our flagship GSG Karate Center in Rawang, providing a dedicated space for advanced training, tournaments, and community events.

A dedicated martial arts educator with over two decades of experience, Renshi Gobinath has devoted his life to empowering youth through traditional karate. His multilingual abilities (English, Malay, Tamil) and deep understanding of child psychology make him an exceptional instructor.
With a degree in Business and International Affairs from UUM, he combines traditional martial arts wisdom with modern teaching methodologies to create engaging, effective training programs.
